If by some small chance you follow this blog closely you will have noticed that I have featured The Mahogany Sessions on here a fair few times before. I generally really like the acts they feature and I think they way they film the clips is really appealing. This awesome spot featuring Bastille performing Pompeii is their greatest success to date and is the first Mahogany video to pass 1 million YouTube views.
Chris Hadfield is a Canadian Astronaut that has established a cult following with his tweets and videos from the International Space Station. He recorded this brilliant cover of David Bowie’s Space Oddity just as his 5 month long stint in space was coming to an end. Amazing, he is as cool as his moustache is bushy.
I first found out about him when I stumbled upon this awesome clip of him wringing out a wet cloth in space, it is definitely worth watching too.
YouTube star Shane Dawson composed this dramatic but hilarious song in which nearly all lyrics are the tweets of celebrities. All tweets are apparently 100% real which makes it even better.
This is Alexander Polli and he is proper mental. In this amazing clip he flies through a small hole on the side of a cliff in his winged suit. It’s absolutely crazy.
This performance by Attraction on Britain’s Got Talent has been receiving a good deal of exposure online and rightfully so. It really is impressive and they should be very happy with it.
However it did remind me of this Gruppe Pilobolus performance which is, in my opinion, far superior.
This Playboy VIP for Him advert is just great. I love an advert that is not afraid to be ridiculous in order to make you laugh and this one does exactly that. It features a man in a limousine who feels like flirting and a variety of crazy scenarios he could be presented with by pressing the button to lower the drivers window.
