I really like this live performance of Master Hunter by Laura Marling on Later With Jools Holland. I really like the music video too. Sorry if that sounded a bit like an ALDI advert but you should watch both.

Angus Stone performs the brilliant Monsters live in Coolangatta in this clip. I really like this song. To see the music video he describes making click here.

Django Django and Noisey collaborated to film what must be one of the most unique but brilliant music video’s I have ever seen for WOR. IT features the infamous Indian Well of Death riders in Allahabad and their crazy stunts. It’s amazing, mental but amazing.
I have been looking for a worthwhile live version of this song to post on here for ages now. This is Swim Deep’s front man Austin Williams performing The Sea live for Student Pocket Guide TV. It’s not exactly what I was looking for to showcase this song but it’s pretty good all the same.
To give you a better idea of how good this song really is here is the music video.
This is the official music video David Brent (Ricky Gervais) and Dom Johnson (Doc Brown) put together for Comic Relief. It’s brilliant. Ricky Gervais is a genius. Biddly-biddly-biddly-biddly-bong.
This is the sketch that preceded the music video showing Brent in all his Office glory. It’s worth watching as well.
This is Electric Guest performing This Head I Hold live at La Maroquinerie in Paris. I really like this song and it’s perfect for a Friday.
Also, the music video for this song is pretty spectacular.

This is Atlas Genius from Adelaide, Australia performing Trojans live on KCRW. I really like this song.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis – Thrift Shop featuring Wanz topped the 2012 Triple J hottest 100. I am not entirely sure whether I like the song or not just yet but the music video is awesome and lines like ‘it smells like R Kelly’s sheets… Piss’ and ‘Imma take your grandpa’s style’ really sway me towards liking it. It also makes me want to visit my closest second hand store.
A new YouTube sensation has arisen from one of the most unlikely places, a fish market in East London. He is known simply as the One Pound Fish Man. This is the original clip of him performing at the market.
With the success of the above video he was picked up by a major record label. A backing track and silly music video were added to his song and a potential successor to Psy’s Gangnam style was born/manufactured. The two videos have a combined total of over 20 million hits on YouTube, he has performed live at West Ham United’s Upton Park at half time and the song was in the running for the UK’s Christmas number one. I doubt it will ever reach the popularity of Gangnam Style but I really hope that Muhammad Shahid Nazir, the One Pound Fish Man, makes a ton of money off the back of it.
Merry Christmas to all. Christmas songs are generally very crap but here are some goodies for you to listen to today.
RUN-DMC - Christmas In Hollis (Awesome)
Slade – Merry Christmas Everybody (Quite possibly my new favourite)
Julian Casablancas – I Wish it were Christmas Today (Almost too cool for Christmas)
Wham! – Last Christmas (Admittedly this isn’t a great one really but it’s still fun to watch)
John Lennon – Happy Christmas (This was played every Christmas in my household as far back as I can remember. Not really sure what that says about my family.)
P.S. This post was created in advance, I am not blogging on Christmas. That would be weird.
