I discovered Ben Howard the other day courtesy of Shazam. This song is called The Wolves and it is pretty damn awesome.

Something a little special is brewing in South Africa between mega brands Nando’s and Sanlam.
It all started with this clever advert by Sanlam
Nando’s then decided to make a parody of the advert
On Wednesday rather than reacting by calling in the lawyers Sanlam decided to lay down a Challenge for Nando’s. The challenge was to deliver a large order to The Johannesburg Children’s Home by Friday.
Nando’s have not only risen to the challenge but have gone a step further, they delivered the order today and have promised to deliver again tomorrow and every friday for the rest of the year. Nice one Nando’s.
It’s all been a fantastic bit of PR by both companies and its great to see The Johannesburg Children’s home benefit. I look forward to Sanlam’s response.
This is a little old now but is still one of the funniest parodies ever. Following the success of the King’s Speech the Jimmy Kimmel show created this comedy sketch. It features a very eloquent “sir” Mike Tyson helping President George Bush overcome his public speaking short falls in a forthcoming attraction called The President Speech.
I was lucky enough to go watch Noah and the Whale live at Shepherds Bush Empire last week Tuesday. It was pretty awesome, they are far more impressive live than on any of their albums. This is them performing Give it All Back, Love of an Orchestra and 5 Years Time. Enjoy, I know I did.
Give it All Back
Love of an Orchestra (My favourite of the night)
5 Years Time
Work in the creative industry? Hate doing timesheets? JWT Brazil may have succeeded in making timesheets worthwhile once and for all.
This is The Cave Singers performing Seeds of the Night live at Easy Street Records in Seattle in 2007. It’s brilliant and Pete Quirk may have one of the coolest voices on the planet.
Desmond and the tutus are without a doubt my favourite South African band and since moving to London I have really missed their live performances. This is Tattoo the first single off their new album Mnusic. I really like it and would love to see it performed live. Desmond, I miss you, come tour London.
