This is The Black Keys performing Lonely Boy on Radio 1 at BBC’s Maida Vale Studio . I Love this song and The Black Keys can do very little wrong in my eyes. Enjoy! To watch the awesome music video for this song click here.
When I first saw 10 O’Clock Live advertised I was very excited by the prospect of a show featuring comedian Jimmy Carr, David Mitchell (of the brilliant Peep Show among other things) and Charlie Brooker (who I became a fan of after watching Black Mirror last year). I only watched about half of the first episode before changing the channel. The show was too scripted and the brilliance of all the aforementioned men seemed to have been watered down into something more acceptable for TV. It was all very disappointing. However Brooker’s poem about The Sun Newspaper and witch hunts featured in this clip is pretty awesome and has successfully encouraged me to give the show a second chance.
This is another advert from the Old Spice Powerful Campaign. It features the weird reverse bowling detached head of spokesman Terry Crews reattaching to his body before being blown off again by the new powerful Old Spice in a can. As you’d expect from an Old Spice commercial its pretty funny (I think Terry Crews may be my hero). To see my previous posts about the campaign click here for Mind Blown commercial and here for the Bounce commercial.
In the spirit of Valentines day this is the Durex sync commercial. There is nothing like a little Marvin Gaye (and Durex) on Valentine’s day.
