Despite not really liking Morrisey I am a big fan of The Smiths and I think, for the moment at least, that William, It Was Really Nothing may be my favourite song of theirs. This is it being performed on a delightfully 80′s episode of Top of The Pops in 1985. Enjoy.
If by some small chance you follow this blog closely you will have noticed that I have featured The Mahogany Sessions on here a fair few times before. I generally really like the acts they feature and I think they way they film the clips is really appealing. This awesome spot featuring Bastille performing Pompeii is their greatest success to date and is the first Mahogany video to pass 1 million YouTube views.
I really love this song and it is another one I have spent ages searching for a decent live version and I am happy to report that I have finally found one thanks to en Mouv’Session. I really like this new VW Jetta wedding advert that features a groom who is extremely protective of his car and will go to any lengths to protect it.
This is Bear’s Den performing Agape at St. Stephen’s Church in March this year. It’s pretty awesome. There is a chance I will be watching them and a lot of other bands that I am rather excited about this weekend at Bushstock. You should be jealous.
Following on from the success of the Here’s to the Moms advert for mothers day Google have released this short Chromebook: For Dads advert for Fathers day. It’s not quite as effective, possibly because it is only 18 seconds long, but I still like that they have taken the time to make it.
